How They Behaved
The saber-tooth cat is a carnivorous predator and they have tactile sense, hunt in packs, are adapted to running, and are scavengers. They stay close to plant-eating animals that were their main diet, such as Mastadons, horses, bison, Brintotheres, and Rhinoceroses. They are thought to be social animals and may have hunted in small groups in the morning and slept in the afternoon. They could remain still for a while and was as strong as the modern tiger but not as fast.
